🧾 Important Class Policies & Student Information

To help you prepare for your program at ESL with James, please carefully review the important notes below:

• Fitness Warm-Up (Leadership & Executive Tiers Only):

Students in the Leadership and Executive Tiers are invited to join a free 45-minute fitness class before each live ESL session. This class is completely optional, and cameras are not required.
 

• Payment Plans
  Most courses (excluding our Fundamental Tier digital lessons) offer 2- or 3-installment plans—just choose your preferred plan at checkout and pay the first installment to secure your spot and begin. Remaining installments are due as you attend.

• Zoom Links:

All Zoom links for your classes will be available on your Student Dashboard 3 days before your first class begins.

• Class Start Date Notes : Class Start Dates and TImes are listed in detail after this list of infomation.

Leadership Tier cohorts begin on Sundays.
Executive Tier students begin with their first scheduled 1-on-1 session.
Foundational Tier classes start every Monday following your enrollment if you register before Friday 5:00 PM EST. If after, your class begins the next Monday after that.

• Scheduling Your Private 1-on-1 Sessions (Executive & Private 1:1 Tiers Only):

You must submit 5–6 available 2-hour time blocks for your weekly private lessons. Once confirmed, please stick to your chosen time. You may change your slot only 2–3 times during the session.

• Level Requirement:

All students must be Level 2+ in English proficiency to succeed in these courses, including the digital-only programs. Intermediate +/- 

• Class Replays & Absences:

You may miss up to 10 live sessions per course and access full recordings for review.
Each tier also includes 5 free “missed class” passes, which allow for official make-up credit or activity substitutions.

• Discount for Self-Paced Learners:

If you know you won’t attend any live classes, email us at [email protected] before enrolling to request a discounted rate on any tier.

• Lesson Release Schedule:

After enrolling, your Student Portal will be available immediately. However, lesson content is released weekly, with 3 new lessons published every 7 days to keep you on track.

Instructor Backgrounds:

All live classes are taught by expert ESL instructors with real-world industry experience. Some sessions may be co-taught by multiple certified teachers to enhance the learning experience.

• Follow-Up Course Discount:

Most programs offer a follow-up series with similar topics. If you continue into the next course in the same series, you’ll receive an automatic 25% discount.

• Large Class Sizes (Leadership Tier):

Don’t worry! Even if class sizes are larger, the Leadership Tier is designed for interactive speaking practice in breakout rooms, ensuring every student gets to practice and participate.
